Your account
Delete your Maldra account
You can delete your account yourself in the Maldra or Invoice & Quote Maker app, or ask us to do it. Here's how, and exactly what happens to your data.
1. Delete your account in the app
This is the quickest way. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
Maldra app
MoreAccountDelete account
Sign in, open More, then Account, and tap Delete account.
Invoice & Quote Maker app
MoreSettings & planDelete account
Sign in, open More, then Settings & plan, and tap Delete account.
What deleting does depends on who you are:
- Business owners: deleting your account closes your whole business on Maldra, for you and for all of your staff.
- Staff (managers, cashiers, inventory staff): only your own access is removed. The business and everyone else carry on as normal.
- If you signed up but never set up a business: your Maldra account is deleted, and you can sign up again later with the same email if you want to.
2. Ask us to delete it
No access to the app? Contact us and we'll delete it for you. To protect your account, send your request from the email address you use for Maldra, and tell us your business name (and business code, if you know it). We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete anything.
Write to us from your account's email address.

Chat on WhatsApp3. What gets deleted, and what we keep
Deleted: your sign-in details and profile, and, for a business owner, the business and everything in it: business profile and logo, products and stock, sales and receipts, customers, suppliers, invoices and quotes, expenses, staff accounts, uploaded documents, and your online store.
Kept for up to 30 days: all of the above, locked so that nobody can use it, while we complete the deletion. This gives us time to finish it safely and to help if the request was made by mistake or by someone else.
Kept longer, only where the law requires it: records of when you accepted our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and records of payments made to Maldra that we must keep for tax and accounting. These are kept securely, used only for those legal purposes, and deleted when we're no longer required to keep them.
If you're a staff member deleting only your own access, the sales and other records you made stay part of your employer's business records, and they belong to the business, not to your account.
